Features

Email-Based Stripe Liveness Verification

The Stripe onboarding experience has been improved by sending liveness verification requests directly to merchants via email. Instead of submitting documents through the API during onboarding, merchants now receive secure, expiring Stripe links at the owner’s email address to upload required information. MXC supports resending these requests until the Stripe account is enabled, reducing delays and minimizing onboarding friction.

PBRA Statement Publish Notifications

A new statement status communication endpoint is now available to notify Passport and MXC when statements are published. Products can subscribe to a single channel to receive publish-ready notifications by statement month and year, improving coordination, reliability, and visibility across both proprietary and third-party integrations.

PBRA Presentment for Profitability Reporting

A new Profitability Report communication endpoint enables proprietary and third-party products to securely retrieve profitability data from MXC using external identifiers such as customer or subscriber IDs. The solution supports both pseudo and hierarchical account structures and returns JSON-based profitability data along with HTML statements, allowing accurate, product-specific financial insights and integrations.

State-Based Firearm MCC Enforcement

Merchant onboarding now enforces state-specific validation for firearm-related businesses. The platform guides merchants to the appropriate MCC—Firearms or Sporting Goods—based on eligibility rules, with consistent validation applied across UI and API onboarding flows. This prevents incorrect MCC selection while providing clear, real-time guidance during setup.

Enhancements

First Data MX Advantage CEDP Maintenance Updates

The First Data API has been enhanced to support maintenance updates for MX Advantage First Data Omaha CEDP participation settings. Updates now persist correctly to AccessOne while ensuring that only the CEDP field is modified. All other account data remains unchanged and fully synchronized across MX Advantage and MXC.

Bugs and Fixes

Corrected SMS Clearing Report Data

An issue causing inaccurate data in the SMS Clearing Report has been resolved. The Amount column now reflects the correct transaction amount, and the Reference Number is consistently labeled and populated using the proper reference value across both grid and detail views, improving reporting accuracy and clarity.
