MX Connect Release Version (July 25, 2023)

Fiserv North FSP Integration – Phase 1

Priority has partnered with Synovus Bank to utilize the Fiserv North platform as a payment processor. Phase 1 includes:

  • Integration Enhancements: Linking MXC FD API with AccessOne API to enable selection of Fiserv North as a card acquirer. Merchant updates sync between MXC and AccessOne.
  • Sponsor Bank: The 815 Synovus Bank BIN is now the sole sponsor bank for Fiserv North.
  • Merchant Detail Updates:
    • Fiserv North tab includes sub-tabs like General, Credit Risk, Features, and Banking.
    • For merchants exclusively using Fiserv North, only Summary, Client, Location, and Fiserv North tabs appear under Merchant Details.
  • New Reporting Features: “Fiserv – North” reports (e.g., Authorizations, Settlement, Clearing, Chargeback) now support sorting, exporting, and filters.
  • Other Improvements: New hierarchy for reporting, updated naming conventions, and default frontend options for merchants in AccessOne.
  • Error Handling: MXC FD API now includes endpoints for status retrieval with enhanced error models.

SMS Clearing Report

A new SMS Clearing Report has been added under Reports > Priority VTX to track SMS transactions processed via MX Merchant.

  • Fields include pin debit and EBT transaction records.
  • Sensitive fields like "Card Number" are masked by default but can be unmasked by users with the appropriate permissions.

Visa Small Merchant Incentive

To support TSYS’s new interchange program for small business merchants, the Small Business Merchant option has been added under the TSYS > Credit Risk tab.

  • Selecting "Yes" updates the XML flag in TSYS Express, enabling lower interchange costs for eligible merchants.

High-Risk Product Enhancements – Phase 1

Efforts to support high-risk and specialty acquiring accounts include:

  • Partner-specific permissions to sell high-risk accounts.
  • High-risk labels applied at submission, visible in Risk Review and Clients grids.
  • Sales partners informed about high-risk status without revealing specific program details.
  • Segregation of high-risk products from general acquiring accounts.

Enhanced Product EULA with Rich Text Editor

The EULA section under Settings > Products > Legal Tab now includes a Rich Text Editor, enabling partners to:

  • Apply formatting like bold, italics, headings, and lists.
  • Save and update terms and conditions easily.
  • Reflect updates in both the Merchant Facing Agreement (MFA) UI and e-signing processes.

MXC Code Optimization: Removal of Keypaths

To improve performance and reduce memory usage, all “keypaths” in the MXC database repositories were replaced with column counterparts, leading to more efficient processing and resource allocation.

Enhanced Merchant Pricing Controls

Pricing controls for App Assist, App Engine, and Templates now include real-time validation error messaging on the Billing tab.

  • Users cannot proceed with merchant boarding if pricing validation errors persist.
  • Errors are highlighted directly against the problematic billing items.

Bug Fixes

  • House Split Agreement API: Partner and Product fields for "House Split" agreements are now correctly disabled when accessed via API.
  • Miscellaneous Fixes: Ensured alignment of Fiserv North toggle behaviors and corrected validation logic across modules.
