Features

Merchant Enrollment Script Updates

A new processor-agnostic recovery script was implemented to update CEDP enrollment for merchants processing via PRTH. This script enables automated synchronization of verification status between Priority and connected processors using BI-provided data files. It supports both initial and subsequent updates, handles Verified and Unverified status changes, logs failed updates, and includes rate limiting to prevent overloading processor maintenance limits.

Enhancements

Canadian Merchant Onboarding Improvements

The merchant onboarding process for Canadian merchants was updated to capture transit number and institution number separately, replacing the previous combined routing number field. This change ensures alignment with Canadian banking standards and consistency with the Stripe portal.

Reporting and PDF Updates

The merchant application PDF generated through the MFA was updated to display Canada-specific verbiage, ensuring compliance with the Canadian Merchant Agreement.

Additionally, the Transaction Activity Report now includes new Province and Tax columns, separating Stripe fees into processing and tax amounts for better transparency.

The product name and menu label were also updated to reflect the new Priority International branding.

Finally, date fields in the Transaction Activity Report now display only the date in UTC format for consistent reporting across time zones.

Authorization and Transaction Activity Enhancements

Both the MXC Authorizations Report and MXC Transaction Activity Report were enhanced to include a new Entry Mode column. This field indicates how each transaction was processed—card present, card not present, or Interac present—providing improved visibility into transaction types and payment intent sources.

Ledger Filtering

Ledger functionality was enhanced to allow filtering by Domain ID, enabling users to view and manage ledger entries specific to a given domain. This update improves data segmentation and accuracy across reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Bugs and Fixes

Improved Logging for API Validation Errors

Logging for boarding API calls initiated from Product Integration was enhanced to include detailed, self-explanatory error messages and full API responses. This improvement increases visibility in Elastic and simplifies issue diagnosis and debugging.
